Building on the Xperia 1 III, the Sony Xperia 1 IV 5G smartphone provides significant technology enhancements that make it an attractive choice for everyone from professional photographers to content creators across all major platforms. It marries sophisticated mobile communication and internet access using 5G Sub6 and MMWave, with Pro photo skills taking cues from their Alpha Sony cameras. Each of the 12MP rear lenses can shoot in 4K HDR at up to 120fps, and the telephoto lens has true optical zoom with a range of 85-125mm. Add a 4.5" 4K 120Hz HDR display, a durable water-resistant chassis, and ample 256GB/512GB storage, and the new Xperia 1 IV can tackle just about any mobile project.
Each of the rear lenses support 4K HDR video at up to 120fps, but creators will really love the optics and shooting settings implemented by Sony's Alpha 9 engineers. The three lenses include a 16mm ultra-gone 12mm ultra, a 12mp 24mm wide angle, and a 12mp telephoto lens. The telephoto lens in particular stands out with an optical zoom range of 85 to 125mm. You can actually zoom in perfectly from 16 to 375mm, switching from digital to optical and back.
The display is also upgraded from the Xperia 1 III, with a 4.5" 4k 120Hz OLED HDR display with a cinematic 21:9 ratio of 21:9. The display quality makes it a versatile feature, allowing you to use it as viewfinder for filming, as a camera monitor or streaming UHD media and playing the latest mobile games.

Compared to the Xperia 1 III, you now have access to both Sub6 and super-fast 5G MMWave spectrums where available. This can equate to download speeds up to 5.6 GB/s and uploads up to 480 MB/s.
