Simple Returns for Online Orders
At Gadcet, we want you to be happy with your purchase. For website orders, you have a 30-day return period from the date of delivery.
Please contact us before sending anything back so our team can review your request and provide the correct return instructions. Returns sent without approval may take longer to process.
Returning Unwanted Items
If you change your mind, the item must be returned in the correct condition.
- Brand-new items must be unopened and in their original sealed packaging.
- Used tech must be returned in the same condition as supplied.
- All accessories, manuals, packaging, and parts supplied with the item must be included.
- Items must be packed securely to prevent damage during return transit.
- No restocking fee applies to items returned in their original sealed condition.
If Your Item Arrives Faulty
If your item appears to be faulty, please contact us through your order and explain the issue clearly. We may ask for photos, videos, or further details to help us review the matter quickly.
Faulty items can be returned even if opened, provided there is no evidence of accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, unauthorised repair, or negligence.
When a Return May Be Declined
A return may not be accepted if the item is returned with damage, missing parts, account locks, or signs of misuse.
- Liquid or water damage
- Physical damage, including cracks, dents, or impact marks
- Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or tampering
- Signs of misuse, neglect, or improper handling
- Missing accessories, manuals, packaging, or parts
- Hygiene items or consumables where the seal has been broken
- Apple ID, Google ID, Samsung account, screen locks, passcodes, or tracking locks
How to Start a Return
Please raise your return request from your order page so the message is linked to your purchase.
- Log in to your Gadcet account.
- Open the relevant order from your order history.
- Select Contact us.
- Explain the reason for return and the condition of the item.
- Submit your request and wait for our team to confirm the next steps.
Sending Your Item Back
Once your return has been approved, please pack the item securely and use a tracked courier service. Keep your proof of postage until your return has been completed.
If the item is not faulty, return postage is the customer’s responsibility. Where we provide a return label, please ensure the parcel is handed over correctly and keep your proof of postage.
We cannot be held responsible for items that are lost, misdelivered, or not delivered to us by the courier. For higher-value items, we recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery or another fully tracked and insured service.
After We Receive Your Return
Once your item arrives, our team will inspect it to confirm the condition and check that it matches the return request.
If approved, we will process the most suitable outcome. This may be a refund, replacement, or repair depending on the product, issue, and stock availability.
Brand-new items returned opened or used as unwanted may be subject to a non-original condition fee of up to 25%, as they can no longer be resold as original sealed items.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method. Refunds usually take 3–5 working days after approval, although some banks or payment providers may take longer.
We will email you once your return has been received, inspected, and processed.
Before Returning Your Item
- Back up and remove all personal data.
- Remove SIM cards, memory cards, and personal accessories.
- Remove Apple ID, Google ID, Samsung account, passcodes, screen locks, and tracking locks.
- Pack the item securely with all included accessories.
- Take photos of the item and packaging before sending it back.
Gadcet is not responsible for any loss of personal data, files, apps, settings, or information left on the device.
