TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SELLING YOUR DEVICE

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before selling your device to Gadcet. By using our service, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Seller Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be the legal owner of the device
  • Ensure the device is not lost, stolen, or blacklisted
2. Device Condition & Valuation
  • Quotes are based on the information you provide
  • Instant quotes are valid for 14 days
  • Your device will be inspected on arrival
  • If condition differs, a revised offer will be provided
  • If declined, a return fee may apply
3. Shipping & Liability

We may provide a prepaid tracked shipping label (Royal Mail).

Liability:
Gadcet is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.

High Value Items:
For items over £100, we recommend using a fully insured service (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery).

Proof of Postage:
You must keep proof of postage to support any claims.

4. Data Security
  • Backup your data before sending
  • Remove SIM cards, memory cards, and all accounts
  • Locked devices cannot be processed
  • We wipe devices but are not liable for data loss
5. Payments
  • Payments via Bank Transfer or PayPal
  • Same-day processing aim (up to 48 hours)
  • Ensure your payment details are correct
6. Stolen & Blacklisted Devices
  • Devices are checked via industry databases (e.g. CheckMEND)
  • Stolen items will be reported
  • No payment will be issued
7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Important – Shipping Liability:
Gadcet is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Transit risk remains with the seller.
