Earth is dying and humanity is running out of time. Twelve light-years from home, the planet Tau Ceti f represents a potential future for the human race. The colony ship Cassiopeia is sent ahead to investigate — but after disaster strikes, its crew discovers they are not alone. An alien organism capable of perfectly imitating its prey has infiltrated the mission, destroying the trust built between crew members and making every encounter potentially deadly.

Starring Lashana Lynch as pilot Brianna Young, Directive 8020 combines cinematic performances and branching decisions with a more active style of horror gameplay.
