The Nintendo Switch (Mario Red & Blue Edition) is a limited edition version of the popular Nintendo Switch gaming console. It was released on February 12, 2021, to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. game franchise.
The console features a unique red-and-blue color scheme inspired by Mario's signature outfit, with red Joy-Con controllers and red body screen. The dock for the console is also red, while the back of the console is decorated with classic Super Mario icons.
Aside from the unique design, the Mario Red & Blue Edition is functionally identical to the standard Nintendo Switch model. It can be used both as a handheld device and as a home console by docking it to a TV using the included dock.
The Nintendo Switch has become one of the most popular gaming consoles since its initial release in March 2017, with a large library of games available to play, including many popular titles featuring Mario and other Nintendo characters.
