The PlayStation Camera (PS4) V2 is an updated version of the original PlayStation Camera for the PlayStation 4 console. It was released in 2016, and includes some new features and improvements over the original version.
One of the most notable differences between the V2 and the original PlayStation Camera is the design. The V2 is more compact and features an adjustable stand, making it easier to position and adjust. It also has a matte finish instead of the glossy finish of the original.
The V2 retains the same motion sensing and voice recognition capabilities as the original PlayStation Camera, but with some improvements. It has a wider field of view, allowing it to capture more of the player's movements, and includes support for PlayStation VR, Sony's virtual reality headset.
Like the original PlayStation Camera, the V2 includes a built-in microphone array for voice recognition and audio chat during multiplayer gaming sessions. It also has a feature called "PlayStation VR passthrough," which allows the user to see the real world through the camera while wearing the PlayStation VR headset, making it easier to navigate the physical space around them.
Overall, the PlayStation Camera V2 is a great accessory for the PlayStation 4 console, especially for those interested in virtual reality gaming with the PlayStation VR headset.
