The TAMRON AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 Lens is a versatile telephoto zoom lens designed for use with both full-frame and APS-C format DSLR cameras. The lens features a maximum aperture of f/4-5.6, providing excellent low-light performance and a shallow depth of field when shooting at longer focal lengths.
One of the key features of this lens is its close-focusing ability, with a 1:2 maximum magnification ratio and a minimum focusing distance of just 37.4 inches. This makes it an ideal lens for macro photography, allowing you to get up close and capture intricate details of your subject.
The lens is constructed with 13 elements in 9 groups, including a low dispersion (LD) element to minimize chromatic aberrations and ensure sharp, clear images throughout the zoom range. Additionally, the lens features Tamron's BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating to reduce flare and ghosting and improve contrast and color accuracy.
Other notable features of the TAMRON AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 Lens include a compact, lightweight design, a seven-blade diaphragm for smooth bokeh, and a built-in autofocus motor for fast and accurate focusing. Overall, this lens is an excellent choice for photographers looking for a versatile, high-quality telephoto zoom lens with macro capabilities.
