The Makita DGA463Z 18V LXT Brushless Angle Grinder delivers professional-grade performance in a compact and cordless design. Powered by Makita’s 18V LXT lithium-ion system and an efficient brushless motor, it offers longer runtime, increased power, and less maintenance — perfect for cutting, grinding, and polishing metal, masonry, and concrete materials. This bare unit version is supplied without batteries or charger, ideal for users who already own Makita 18V LXT tools.
- Powerful brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes, reducing heat build-up and increasing tool life.
- 115mm (4-1/2") wheel diameter — ideal for general-purpose grinding and cutting applications.
- Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) automatically adjusts speed and torque for optimal performance under load.
- Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) shuts down the motor if wheel rotation suddenly slows, enhancing user safety.
- Soft start provides smooth start-up and prevents tool kickback.
- Variable speed control dial (3,000–8,500 RPM) for precise application control.
- Electric brake stops the wheel quickly for improved productivity and safety.
- Anti-restart protection prevents accidental start-up after power interruption.
- Slide switch with lock-on function for continuous operation.
- Ergonomic rubberised grip ensures comfort and control during extended use.
- Compact, lightweight design makes it easy to handle in tight spaces.
- Part of the Makita 18V LXT System — compatible with all LXT batteries and chargers.
