One way to develop a deep bond with your Pokémon is the Pokémon-Amie feature, which lets you get closer to your Pokémon by stroking them, playing games with them, and feeding them special snacks called Poké Puffs. The more you care for your Pokémon, the better they perform. Beyond battles, you can also show off your Pokémon in Pokémon Contest Spectaculars to see who has the most appeal across five categories: Coolness, Beauty, Cuteness, Cleverness and Toughness.
