Product Overview:
Elevate your audio recording quality with the RØDE VideoMic, a high-performance on-camera shotgun microphone designed specifically for filmmakers, content creators, and location recording. This professional-grade microphone is renowned for its clear, directional audio capture, making it an essential tool for anyone serious about producing high-quality video content.
Product Description:
The RØDE VideoMic is engineered to capture audio with precision and clarity, directly from the source while minimizing background noise. Its shotgun design focuses on audio in front of the camera, which is perfect for interviews, vlogs, and any scenario where you need to isolate the subject from environmental sounds.
Featuring an integrated Rycote Lyre shock mount, the VideoMic significantly reduces handling and vibration noise, ensuring smoother and more professional recordings. The microphone also includes adjustable settings such as a high-pass filter to reduce low-frequency noise like traffic and air conditioners, and a pad to decrease sensitivity for recording loud sound sources.
Lightweight and easy to use, the RØDE VideoMic mounts directly to your camera's hot shoe and connects via a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack, compatible with a wide range of cameras and audio recording devices. It is powered by a 9V battery, providing long-lasting performance for field work.
Key Features:
- Directional Audio Capture: Focuses on sound in front of the camera while reducing background noise.
- Rycote Lyre Shock Mount: Minimizes handling and vibration noise for clearer, more stable sound.
- High-pass Filter: Eliminates low-frequency noise to enhance overall audio clarity.
- Pad Setting: Adjusts the microphone sensitivity for recording in loud environments.
- Compact Design: Lightweight and doesn't require extensive setup, perfect for on-the-go shooting.
- Broad Compatibility: Works with any camera with a 3.5mm microphone input.
Why Choose the RØDE VideoMic?
