Developed by Offworld Industries, this fully licensed co-operative first-person shooter drops you into the role of an elite Deep Space Vanguard Trooper, fighting enormous Bug swarms across hostile planets while completing objectives, gathering resources and constructing fortified defensive positions.

The headline experience supports up to 16 players online, creating huge co-operative battles where multiple squads must work together to survive hundreds of Arachnids appearing on screen. Team communication, class selection, ammunition management and defensive construction can all make the difference between successful extraction and becoming Bug food.

Choose from six specialised classes – Ranger, Sniper, Demolisher, Guardian, Engineer and Medic – each with its own weapons, equipment, perks and battlefield role. For players wanting to experience the universe away from a full multiplayer squad, Special Operations Group content provides a narrative-focused solo experience featuring General Johnny Rico, voiced by original Starship Troopers actor Casper Van Dien.

Crossplay allows PS5 players to fight alongside players on Xbox Series X|S and PC, dramatically expanding the available co-op community. Cross-platform progression is not supported, so progress remains tied to the platform on which it was earned.
