Overview

Take Street Fighter anywhere with Street Fighter 6: Years 1-2 Fighters Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, the expanded version of Capcom's acclaimed fighting game combining the complete base experience with the first two years of additional fighters, stages and colour content.

This edition increases the playable roster to 26 fighters, adding eight DLC characters from Years 1 and 2: Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, Akuma, M. Bison, Terry, Mai and Elena. It also expands the stage selection to 20 arenas with Ruined Lab, Enma's Hollow, Pao Pao Cafe 6 and Reniala Remains.

Street Fighter 6 combines three major experiences. Fighting Ground delivers traditional one-on-one fighting through modes such as Arcade, Versus and Training; World Tour provides a single-player RPG-style journey where your custom avatar explores Metro City and learns techniques from legendary fighters; and Battle Hub creates an online social environment where players can meet, challenge rivals and enjoy classic Capcom arcade titles.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version adds platform-exclusive ways to play. Fight another nearby Switch 2 player through Local Wireless One on One and Avatar Matches, or use the Joy-Con 2 controllers in party modes including Gyro Battle and Calorie Contest. Classic, Modern and Dynamic control schemes are all supported.

Online play supports cross-platform competition, allowing Switch 2 players to face Street Fighter 6 opponents on other supported platforms at 60fps. Nintendo also lists up to 16 online participants through the game's wider online environment.

The UK physical release is a Game-Key Card, meaning the card contains the licence rather than the complete game data.
