How to find your iPad model

Open Settings > General > About. The model name and storage capacity are listed there. On a Galaxy Tab, open Settings > About tablet.

How to get your iPad ready to sell

  1. Back up your iPad to iCloud or your computer.
  2. Sign out of your Apple Account: Settings > [your name] > Sign Out. This turns off Find My and Activation Lock.
  3. Erase it: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Erase All Content and Settings.
  4. Selling an Android tablet? Remove your Google account first, then use Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset.

We can't buy an iPad that is still locked to an Apple Account, so please make sure Find My is off before you send it.
