How to find your phone model

On an iPhone, open Settings > General > About. On an Android phone, open Settings > About phone. Both show the model name and storage.

How to get your phone ready to sell

  1. Back up your photos, contacts and messages.
  2. On an iPhone, sign out of your Apple Account to turn off Find My. On Android, remove your Google account (and Samsung account on a Galaxy) to turn off Factory Reset Protection.
  3. Factory reset the phone. On iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Erase All Content and Settings.
  4. Take out your SIM card and any memory card.
