How to get your AirPods ready to sell
- On your iPhone, open the Find My app, tap Devices, choose your AirPods and tap Remove This Device.
- Then open Settings, tap your AirPods and choose Forget This Device.
- Reset them: with the earbuds in the case and the lid open, press and hold the setup button for about 15 seconds until the light flashes amber, then white.
- Clean the earbuds and case gently with a dry, lint-free cloth.
AirPods still linked to an Apple ID can't be processed, so make sure you remove them from Find My.
